Gila punya MYEG

MYEG claims that the road tax will reach your home within 2 business days. Expecting the norm, I was willing to wait patiently for the second day. Ye la, I renewed the road tax at about... almost afternoon? Or was it after lunch time. So, did the MYEG directly after lah. Lagipon, the next day was cuti Maulud Nabi Muhammad SAW. Jadi, mmg tak bajet la dia orang akan proses my application on the spot... and my Kelisa was doomed to be parking-lot-bound for the next two days, tops!

Aleh2, malam tu balik ghumah... Waddaroti-naan???? ROAD TAX DAH SAMPAI? Alhamdulillaaah. Wallawehh... power siot MYEG. Hehehehe... Memang gila babeng baik punya servis :) Satu hari sudah sampey.... Well, kira tak sampai satu hari pon la.... So, syabbas kepada MYEG and keep up the good work :)

* The author of this blog is merely relating his personal experience with MYEG. At the moment belum pernah terkena la any 'horror' experiences... Alhamdulillaah

Strangle Blood???

(Sandra, if ure reading this... sowwwyyy. Tried to contact you about the cancellation. Tapi tak dapat nak reach number 013 tuhs. Dah tukar ke? YM oso mcm tak berjaya...)

Today, I renewed our Kelisa's long overdue Takaful policy and of course, its road tax. Takaful was done over the phone, and Alhamdulillaah everything seemed to go well. After completing the insurance stuff (cost me RM496.40), I asked the girl on the other side of the line about the charges in case I wanted her to renew the road tax as well. To my astonishment, the service fee would be  RM20!!! Walawwweh... road tax saja dah RM20... kalau service fee RM20 gak, in all RM40!!! Watakunggchiii??? Mahai bebenau.... Ni memang kes CEKIK DARAH a.k.a. STRANGLE BLOOD!!!!!

Actually I had every intention of renewing the road tax through MYEG, by myself. Tapi kot kot la agen tu punya service charge was more or less like MYEG's... then I wouldn't mind la. But since even MyEG only charges a seciput fee, memang WAJIB lah buat sendiri. Tamau aku tak pasal2 kena chas RM20... Moreover, from what I've learnt, some agents also use MYEG to renew clients' road taxes... Jadik, baik la buat sendiri ye dok? Dah le guna cara sama... tak pasal2 kena over charge. Hmmm... I think... from one lecture I heard... this kind of over charging can also fall into a particular category of Riba'. Wallahu a'lam. Need to find out more bout this. Annywayz... this is tha screen shot :D Again, another road tax renewal through MYEG.COM.MY :D Shelamaaat.

Online Road Tax Renewal - RM28.75. Overall RM525.15. Lebih baik dari RM536.40
if the charge was RM40...

MyEG Online Road Tax Renewal - SATU HARI SAMPAI

I actually just made the request for my road tax yesterday morning... and today (at around 3 pm) the road tax is already safely delivered to my house. Alhamdulillaah :) I was expecting the maximum duration of 2-days actually, but I am very2 surprised that in a bit more than 24-hours, I already have my road tax.

This online road tax renewal service from MyEG is very2 useful lah :) And with an overall charge of around RM9... I think it's worth not dragging my butt all the way to the bank and post office :) ... But I heard also some horror stories la about MyEG. Cuma don't quite remember what... anybody ever had any bad experiences using MyEG? Please do share.... I oso bukan la nak puji melambung2 this service. It's just that based on my past experiences, the delivery has been without problem....

Wokeh.... Assalaam aleykom WBT :D

Road Tax Renewal through MYEG again :D - and can update the geran kereta too

Assalaam aleykom WBT. Yeous, again I am lazy and did my road tax through Myeg (http://www.myeg.com.my). Bukan apa, I mean it's just a bit of a hassle for me to call the bank and ask them to do it since they have the car's certificate of ownership. Senang story, I just use MyEG... again... yeous... I lazy.... :D Anywayz... How to do it? Same as how I said I did it in the past... ada a few posts about this, but lazy to tampal the URLs here... I am in lazy mode remember... ;]

Firstly, I went to TAKAFUL MALAYSIA and renewed my car insurance. After doing that, went back home to open the MyEG website. Click on ROAD TAX renewal... For me, I then proceeded to click on the link that said - "If you renewed your road tax with MyEG last year, please click here", since I already did it with them last year. Then filled in my car registration number and IC number.... and VOILA! All my information is displayed. OH! And you can choose to have it home delivered or you can also pick it up at MyEG's service centers (MyEG SERVICES e-khidmat)? I saw one in Bangi... but the option for it wasn't there (they use the drop down menu thinggy)? pelik tapi benarrrr... anwyayz.... Gedepab gedebup badabing badabang.... siap :D Pay using credit card and settle :D

  • Road Tax Renewal Fee = RM90.00
  • Delivery Charge = RM6.00
  • e-Service Charge = RM2.75 (where did the .75 come from daaaa....)
  • TOTAL = RM98.75 -- Ok la tu ye dok?
  • Delivery time - They say contact  them if the road tax doesn't reach me within 2-days...

And another thing. I said in the past that when you do your road tax thru MyEG, the update won't be reflected on your geran kereta? Well, I just found out that you can have the geran kereta updated by writing an authorization letter saying that you allow a MyEG representative to collect the geran kereta at you hire purchase company (bank), and update it on your behalf. Of course, lepas tu dia akan return balik kat bank tu la :D You can call or email MyEG about this. I thought of doing this, but found the idea kind of scary...  Because it's my geran kereta! Serious things can happen if it falls into the wrong hands... right? kan? ke? I do have a point right? Please advise :D hehehe....
Oraits...

That is all. Hope this post has benefited someone or everyone :D Selamaaatz....

Another MYEG delivered road tax - Kelisa GX Road Tax Renewal (MYEG)

Alhamdulillaah. Today I got the road tax for the wife's Perodua Kelisa :D No morphing happened though... the guy came without first being a sexy girl clad in a tight read leather suit :P

Anywayz... my last entry concerning MYEG was just blabbering in general about the
whole experience. But I've noticed that some visitors who happened to land on my blog (from Google or Yahoo!) were actually looking for information about how to get the road tax thru MYEG... Okes. This post will talk about that :D

Okes. Here goes...

STEPS FOR ROAD TAX RENEWAL THROUGH MYEG... (http://www.myeg.com.my)

1. For my case... I already renewed my takaful (insurance). I did it at Syarikat Takaful Malaysia. Easy and simple... and ikut syarak :D So insyaAllaah all will be ok for this life and the hereafter :D Ameennn...

2. After finishing all that, keep your takaful (insurance) confirmation slip handy...

3. Goto http://www.myeg.com.my... At the main page, click on the 'ROAD TAX RENEWAL' link. Easy peasy... :) - see image below...

4. Since you already bought your insurance (as in my case)... just ignore that big blue link saying 'CLICK HERE TO BUY INSURANCE' at the road tax renewal page. Just key in all the details... and after that... just click 'PROCEED'... the page after this should display all your details (if I remember correctly) pertaining to your car, as well as the takaful/insurance information :D After checking... proceed to payment (but if the info. is wrong, I have no idea how U can correct it. Supposed to be correct...)

5. Finally, select the payment method... and finish up the transaction... Oh... and key in the mailing address. Shouldn't forget that one :)

That's basically it. There's RM12 (RM10 for delivery and some RM2 fee for what I forget) extra though that you have to pay (for my Kelisa that is... shouldn't be any different for other cars I guess...). So, if you think not lining up at the post office or JPJ is worth RM12... then MYEG is da way to go :D - as for me, I'm just lazy. But I think RM12 is ok... even though I'd prefer it to be below RM10 :D

In 2-working days, insyaAllaah the road tax will be delivered to the mailing address you specified. Oh... and I recommend sending it to your office address... because for me, mostly no one's at home from morning till evening... so most probably the delivery guy won't be able to deliver... as a result you'd be the one who has to go and collect... There goes the RM10 :P anywayz... :D

Okes. Hope this info has helped... TQ for reading :D Salaaam...

Experience with MYEG :) - Online Road Tax Renewal

(Got this email from Posonline@pos.com.my just now. Just something I'd like to keep showing the last time I'd get fuel rebate...)

Alhamdulillaahi Robbil 'Aalameen :) My MyEG transaction (online) for personal car road tax renewal has been completed. By this, I mean that I've already received a courier of the road tax, as well as had the fuel rebate banked into my CIMB Islamic account.

I have to say, that it is very2 convinient. And literally, involves just a few mouse clicks. But of course lah, ada kena isi2 maklumat diri... so that was the boring part I guess. (orang malas isi borang, biasa la.... :P). All the processing took less than a week... and again, I like the fact that I can even do all this with my big butt glued to a comfotable chair :D

Anyway, overall, I'd rate using http://www.myeg.com.my/ --> 8/10. The other 2-points went out the window when considering some small imperfections on website navigation. On some pages, they don't provide 'ESCAPE' links/buttons/clicks. U'd be relegated to using the back button, which is not quite a professional button to use considering the magnitude of MyEg itself :)

But in all, the 8-marks says that it was a positive experience non-the-less :D Functionality-wise... all went without a glitch :D O.K. gak la. Whoever that has used might agree. But I understand if some might have contrasting views (as user experience might be effected by badnwidth [heck, I was on a 300++kb/s Streamyx line], code malfunctions, or maybe unseen technical anomalies). But in all, my experience was ok. And I would reccommend the service to others :)

Okes. Now all I have to do is stick the road tax on my car's wind shield... and... and.... eh kejap. Dia orang ada provide servis "tolong lekat kan road tax kat cermin keter" dok? And specifically... by Maya Karin in her red suit? kekekekekekekek ....
