Toner Printer Sampai

Today, my printer toner sudah sampey. Had to go to the general office to get it though. Ni musti kes delivery came by when I was not in my room. Tapi, hmmmm... pukul 11:59 dia tulis kat POS LAJU. Kok aku gi mana pukul 11:59? Rasa2 mcm ada kat bilik? Hmmmm... Maybe he did not find the room. Anywayz....

For a recycled/refilled toner, it prints quite well [Correction - The owner of the company says that his toners are actually brand new ones, and not refurbished/recycled/refilled] :) So, at the moment the review is OK from me for www.tonercartridgesave.com.my. Let's see how long the quality of this toner lasts. If it's ok, then insyaAllaah lepas2 ni order sama Mr. Nelson saja la :D Shelamaaat.

Buying Printer Toner Online + PosLaju mcm laju je?

I will blog today, insyaAllaah, about buying printer toner online and POSLAJU:

PRINTER TONER

I brought my own printer from home (along with my own PC) since at the moment, there are none available to be given to me. And since this printer is around 4-years old... it's about time the toner 'died'. Not that we really used it that much, but I think sebab dah lama sangat... toner dia pon kong lah. Anywayz... mmg kong dah pon because I can't get a decent printout. Maka, I looked around lah to buy toner for my Canon LBP-2900. Tengok2 dan cari2, jumpa lah this one online retailer in Malaysia [click here]. The toner model was available and priced at RM90. A friend told me that such retailers normally recycle the toner containers... and that RM90 is quite a competitive price. So, antam saja la, tarus I ordered. Tawakkal pada Allaah and hopefully the thing will be in mint condition. One thing I found to be quite interesting is that the seller (picture below), sends the product via POSLAJU for FREE!!! [dia tulis for free la, but of course la kos dah masuk harga barang ye dok. kot...?]. But considering the RM90 price tag... testing saja la. Kalau bagus, lepas ni si Nelson ni ada la repeat customer insyaAllaah :) Try not to let me down iya tuan kepada Toner Cartridge Save. Payment option? Okes... After completing the order kat website dia... I go direct to my Maybank2u dan transfer the money. Lepas tu email to him details apa yang patot. Abish....

The toner... Canon-LBP2900 compatible katanya. Model 303 ke apa ntah... RM90

Bukan Nelson Mandela iye...

POSLAJU

This is the first time, I think, that I am trying to track my parcel via POSLAJU. Tengok-tengok, memang macam lajuuuu je pos laju ni? Kalau tak, tak nama pos laju la ye dok? Anywayz... I ordered semalam, and now dah sampai Kajang (sket lagi je nak sampai UPM dah tuuu). Owh, and harap orang POSLAJU takde la suruh myself go down ke guard counter to take my bungkusan (if I'm in the office lah). Hehehe. Kalau tak, mmg nak kena palangkong ini rider.

This is quite laju... kan? Or am I just jakun :P

Okes. Itu lah kisah nye. Sekian, terima kasih kerna membaca ini entry :D Assalaam aleykom.

Casio ... Illuminator kot?

Since I have nothing better to write about, I will write about my most recent freebie... well, sort of a freebie. As many of you might know, I am the 'agent' for the arabs @ USM (mostly Jordanians) to buy their flight tickets. Not that I'm an official airline ticket sales rep. or anything, it's just that most of the guys who want to buy their tickets through me are trying to practice the best Islam that they can. One means is to avoid any kind of banking system. This means that they do not put their moneys in the bank. Although there exists 'Islamic Banking' nowadays, some still question the validity of the whole system. Therefore, these people will not have money in the bank, but instead in their homes (or as we Malays would say - duit bawah bantal).

So, when it comes time to buying the airline tickets, there is no CIMB-clicks, no Maybank2U and also no RHB-2U (weh, RHB ada ke RHB-2U...?), and of course... no credit card. This is where I come in. Since they already have the cash, all I have to do is pay for the ticket using my credit card, and everyone's happy insyaAllaah. Although my card is the conventional type... I try my very best to pay directly after (or a few days after) each transaction. Therefore, insyaAllaah, I will avoid any riba' or interest calculated on any outstanding balance. So I stay riba' free, and my arab friends get to fly with Kuwait Airlines :D Oh... and did I mention that I get to accumulate points also? Thehehehehe.... Anywayz, I do tell them this, and inform them that I thank them for helping me accumulate these points. At the end, Alhamdulillaah, everyone seems happy :D - [By the way, I use Maybank VISA, and unlike CIMB's direct access, they say that no interest will be charged on overseas transaction ON the transaction date itself, which is GOOD!!!!].

Anywayz, since I've done this for quite many times... and coupled with my own petty transactions... I have managed again to accumulate enough points to redeem a gift :) And yes... I am a boring person, so I redeemed another watch :D This time I took the digital one (since last time I opted for the analogue version). It's a CASIO, and has the writing ILLUMINATOR on it. That's the brand-type name I guess. Anywayz... Alhamdulilllaah, this watch is qutie nice! It's lightweight, doesn't look big like those G-Shock types, and the best thing is that... it has 10-years battery life! Pakai bateri nukelar ke apa??? Anywayz... Alhamdulillaahi Robbil 'Aalameen!!! Okes. Itu aje nak post. TQ for reading this far. Assalaam aleykom WBT.

TV Capture Card 101 - Macam mana nak rekod program TV/ASTRO menggunakan komputer/laptop dengan tv/video capture card/stick

Berapa punya panjang daaa tajuk. Anywayz... Tonight (since it's already 8:11 pm) I'd like to blog about how I record soccer video from ASTRO. I am trying to use these footage for my PhD work, and plz make a prayer for me so that all will go well... insyaAllaah :)

Anywayz... To record from television/ASTRO to your computer's hard disk (whether laptop or PC), you firstly need to buy a tv capture card (also called video capture card). Now, since these devices can be done via small USB devices, they are also called sticks! No matter what they're called, the basic idea is to have them connect YOU (your machine that is) to the normal-TV or satellite-TV decoder. In my case, it's the latter cuz I connect it to my ASTRO decoder. Below is the pic :)

Astro decoder (yes, ini yg lama punya dan bukan Byond)

Composite cable connections :) YELLOW = video... RED and WHITE = stereo audio...

Ter-forget pulak. The card I'm using is the USB PLUSTV Hybrid TV Stick II (KW-DVBT 325U) from KWorld. What I do is connect the three composite jacks (Yellow, Red and Yellow) to the USB stick, and then cocok/insert the stick into one of the computer's available USB slots :) Of course I install the drivers first lah. Oh, and also the Hypermedia Center software so that an interface is given for me to view and record/capture video from the TV. My USB stick is as shown below:

The USB stick that captures tv signals into my hard drive

The jacks connect!!!

Composite-to-stick connection... small USB connection
Notice the blue light indicating successful signal transfer... alhamdulillaah...

After making sure that your ASTRO decoder and of course, PC, is turned on... run the Hypermedia Center software and you'll get a screen looking something like this:

Hypermedia Center...
Select 'TV'

Select Source Input (what cable ure using...)
COMPOSITE... as I'm using the Yellow, Red n White composite cables...

Ok. After doing all that... VOILA! You have ASTRO on your PC :) All you have to do next is to press the RECORD button (not shown, but I think U all know which button I mean) and you can store your TV/ASTRO programs on your PC :) If you move your mouse to the bottom-left corner of the Hypermedia Center interface, then all those buttons will come out lah :)

Channel 616... my daughter's favorite channel...
Example of FULL SCREEN mode. Kalau Byond lagik cantek ni. Cuz my monitor supports is HDMI ready!!!
Sah2 la mesti tengok bola kan... Malam ni World Cup 2010 ENGLAND vs GERMANY. Go Go GERRARD!!! (Not houllier tapi...)

Okes. That wasn't hard at all. The hardest part is only giving your hard earned cash to the orang kedai @ Low Yatt to get the USB stick :D Oraits... tq for reading iya. Assalaam aleykom WBT.

C901, C902... then was influenced by Mat Nabil to go C903... belakang kalu, Vincent Loong soh beli ELM

Assalaam aleykom... If some of you remember, I blogged about buying a new handphone as a replacement for my dying (now almost dead, phone-wise that is) Sony Ericsson (SE) K550i. Firstly I thought about the SE C901... the JPEGs were quite nice, but when I actually saw it... the phone was a bit plain. Too monotone (satu kaler), jadik tak jadik nak angkut. Then was introduced to the C902 by Amy... nampak macam cun lagi... but saw some not so good reviews on GSM Arena and oso Mobile88.com. Tarus tak jadi... Lepas tu, saw reviews about  C903. Remembered that Mat Nabil Tajudin Nasution guna tepon ni and asked him about the quality. He told me it was a good hanpdhone and the online reviews confirmed his claims. So, semalam went to Mines Shopping Fair and nak beli C903 la... :D

Sampai2, tengok2 C903 berkilat sangat. Tak sesuai pulak ngan citarasa mamat 33-tahun yg ada premature gray hair :P Had three colors this SE C903. Red, White and Black. All kilat2 which can become fingerprint nightmare. So, dah rasa macam tak jadi... tapi henpon kena mau beli juga, pasal K550i dah nak kong pai kong...

Then, mamat kat kaunter tu who went by the name of Vincent (Loong) showed me the Sony Ericsson Elm. And wallaweh, the A.P. version was within my budget of below RM700. Saw it online, tak nampak menarik. But when depan mata macam cun la pulak. The curvy design (at the belakang) seemed very appealing to me, and the keypad (compared to the K550i) is marvelous! Nak tulish SMS pon senang :D So, after tok tek tok tek belek belek henpon tu, tarus la daku angkat. RM650 in the end... Tak pandai tawar, so mmg terkena harga yg agak tak murah la in the end :P

Setakat ni, alhamdulillaah, the phone is working quite well. Yang pelik, kadang2 it shows bad reception... but tak efek pulak bila cakap? Maybe cuz its Green Heart (environmentally friendly), so kurangkan power consumption until effects the reception (but I say again, tak perasan pon apa2 kekurengan masa bercakap).  Harap2 it will be ok sampai many2 months and years to come insyaAllaah. BTW, ada WIFI phone ni, which is a new feature for me. Dah try tadi kat rumah, and the browsing experience is quite good.  Will frequent kedai2 mamak yg kasik free WIFI lepas ni, hehehe. Orait... TQ for reading iya :D Assalaam aleykom WBT.

When My Handphone Goes Kaput...

My current handphone is the Sony Ericsson K550i. Recently, it suffered a serious drop that caused the top right hand corner of the display to 'bleed'. Not sure what blood it's bleeding, but it's bleeding. Alhamdulillaah, idok le teruk sangat tapi. Anywayz, since the drop, this phone has been showing signs that it is close to its end. For one thing, it has shut down by itself oh so many many times. Even with the keypad locked, somehow it manages to turn itself off!!! Lepas tu pulak, sometimes it keeps asking me to INSERT SIM. Aiyaa, sim already inside, why ask for more sims? You think U dual sim? Btw, I had a friend once named Sim... her full name was Simantarkar Umbiratini Sulaiman...
My current SE K550i

Anywayz... In order to get ready for my phone's ultimate demise, I have looked at other Sony Ericsson models as potential replacements. I quite like SE due to the Cybershot cameras 'courtesy' of SONY. But the thing I hate is the ear-phone and charger slot (or apa nama dia ek?)... which looks weird. But that's a small issue... So, takpe la. Still keen to get an SE.
Why can't they make 'em like any other jack? I mean, the ones with
only one pointed end instead of two ends with some copper
lining inside? Senang rosak ooo kadang2...

Since I am not that much into browsing on mobile phones, I don't quite require a high-end 3G phone with a big big screen (even tho I quite like the look and feel of the IPhone...). All I want is something that can easily and quickly write SMS-es, able to capture nice pictures, and can play my favorite MP3 songs. After dok tengok tengok tengok... I came across the Sony Ericsson C901. Nampak macam ok!!! The camera also is a whopping 5.0 Mega Pixels. Sah2 cantek gambor yang ditangkap ye dok?

But since I am no mobile phone expert... I don't know the actual story. Based on some mobile88.com comments, the phone seems ok :) And at a price range between RM500-700, I think it fits the bill quite well. Eh japs... betul ke RM500-700... or is it in the ribu-ribu range???

Anywayz... just wondering if any of you have any experiences with this phone. Kot2 buleh kasik nasihaaat :D

Oraits... Assalaam aleykom WBT

Trip to Low Yat & Buying a PC

Alhamdulillaahirobbil'aalameen

Today, myself and my good friend Aizal Kusyairi paid a visit to Low Yat Plaza to get my brand new system. I initially only asked the guy about RAM configurations... but Aizal being Aizal... he had to overdeliver... and instead came up with a whole PC configuration! Thank you very2 much bro :D

Reason to buy the PC? Well... lately I've been commuting from my house in Nibong Tebal to Penang (Island). Have to do this... because now my wife is pregnant (3-4 months)... so I have to be around the house to attend to her and also my daughter's needs :D

Due to these, I have to do the work in the lab (where my workstation is), and also try to get home in time to pick up my daughter from school (must bertolak at around 4:40pm the latest from Penang island to avoid traffic congestion). The major drawbacks however are twofold.

Firstly, I spend around 1.5-2 hours, daily, commuting... That time might be better spent writing MATLAB codes or coming up with my thesis outline or even a conference/journal paper. Secondly, the cost is quite unbearable, as the TOLL ALONE IS RM11.20 per day :( So, I think I need to station myself at home for most of the week. One solution is to buy a PC workstation, so that can work from home. The current laptop I have is a bit too slow (RAM pon 1Gig je...) to handle each 40,000 images per video file for my work.

So tu la pasal why I need to get this system. Bukan pasal mengada... but it is indeed a necessity :) Anywayz... what started as a memory related question (to Aizal) is now a full system with quite impressive specifications (tq again banyak2 En Aizal Cikaro):

1) AMD Phenom II X4 955 Processor (Yes, I've gone anti-Intel again) - 3.2 GHz (8Mb Cache)
2) Asus AM3 M4A785TD-M EVO Motherboard
3) Crossair DDR3 1333 4GB (Pair) RAM
4) Asus LCD Monitor (VH222H) - with built-in speakers (quite ok the sound)
5) Western Digital Hard Disk (BLACK) - 1 Terabyte 7200RPM SATA
6) Cooler Master ELITE 334 PC Casing
7) SAMSUNG (kampung dusun) DVDRW SATA

And all of that, running on a Windows XP Pro... very2 de fast one :) Alhamdulillaah. The system is now in its final stage of installation (Microsoft Word, Antivirus etc.). This is happening as we speak (read for you and write for me :P)

Anywayz... Just to share a silly but USEFUL experience (as how most experiences are)

We faced a glitch whilst initially trying to power up the machine. Tried to switch it on after installing the CPU, heat sink, RAMs, hard disk etc. The LED light on the ASUS motherboard was on! But for some reason, the CPU fan was not spinning :( This was really2 really2 really2 not normal. Thought about many techie reasons e.g.:

1) RAM tak betul... maybe this motherboard only supported 1GB installations... Aiyaaa.... But if the RAM was the problem, the fan should still be turning
2) Not enough power form the power supply. But we were already running a 460 Watt Cooler Master...
3) Might have accidentally scratched the motherboard surface while trying to pasang the CPU's heat sink & fan
4) Motherboard was not original... suspected a 'rogol-ed' version :P

Lepas dah lama godek... I finally tried to unplug the CPU. Tengok2... we plugged in the wrong power socket to the motherboard. Dayem... We accidentally plugged in a 6-socket adaptor to a 4-socket... ended up karen tak masuk la! This is almost equivalent to not being able to switch on your PC, while the problem was that the power cable is unplugged. Lama jugak la we took to solve this simple thing :P This shows that sometimes (or sometimes, most of the time...), the answer is so simple yet we overlook it due to the other stuff that we have to do :D

Okes. Tu je kot. Tq for reading :D

Another ASUS Notebook in the Troxion Family

Assalaam aleykom WBT and A Very2 Good Day :)

The other week, I was vehemently looking for a laptop for my wife. Mula2, I opted for the easy way out... which was to go and look online. Due to my limited knowledge in hunting for online laptops, I just looked at HP-COMPAQ, and also Ahmad DELL bin Tajudeen Zawawi (asyik Jaapar je... tukar plak... tiada kaitan dengan sesiapa yg ada lorong... hehehehe).

By de way, this entry bukan nak riak takkabur or anything, but just to share the brilliance of ASUS. I am also glad to declare myself an ASUS promoter... unpaid promoter that is. Hehehehe.. Hmmm.. an idea for an ASUS affiliate blog? Hmmmm... ok ok. Mulakan story.

HP-COMPAQ

Ok. The laptops are priced quite ok. But I was quite drawn back by their un-user-friendly website design. Yes of course there's all the specs for the notebook PCs... but since I was expecting something like DELL's website... and the HP-COMPAQ website failed to be something like DELL... I was turned off. Furthermore, I hear that after the 1-year warranty period... COMPAQ notebooks will do some magic! Like they know the 1-year is up... the LCD will start to deteriorate, the keyboard will start acting funny etc. This is from one of the notebook dealers that I know... and also from my friend Mr. Aizal Kusyairi Cikaro Kiroro :D

DELL

Haa... this was almost a buy for me. The Malaysian DELL website was relatively user friendly. Customizing your laptop only requires expert knowledge in READING 101 as well as KNOWING HOW TO USE YOUR MOUSE 102 :) Prices? Well... in the end, I was turned off by the prices. Not to say too mahal or anything... but I find that DELL will attempt (in an unseen fashion) to pursue buyers to upgrade uncertain packages :) Namely... the extension in warranty... which would also mean an increase in the hole-size in yer wallet and pcoket :)

I customized so that I'd get the 24-months MC-AFEE as well as the 1-year on-site warranty and service and what-else-I-forget :) In the end... it was in the higher RM3000s. Almost cecah 4K!!!

Another thing... I think DELL is a company yang try to kejar2 trend sometimes, so there has been reports claiming that notebooks aren't manufactured to the best of standards. Not all... but the unlucky few... This means that sometimes ada gap in the casing, built-in camera tak jalan (which happened to my friend) etc... In con-klu-si... turned off again :) But definitely still under consideration la... sebab I did not have to physically go and get the notebook :P hehehehe. Malas nye Alpyan. Tapi takpe.

THE ASUS CHOICE

Since I was unsure, I opted to ask my fren Eddie Mustappa. He was a DELL advocate. So not much option there :P Then, my problem caught the attention of Mr. Aizal Cikaro Kiroro. He gave me the ASUS option :) I tot ASUS was selling high priced notebook PCs... cuz the last time I bought my ASUS W3, it cost almost 5K. Uwek! Terbang duit ke situ. Tapi takpe :)

But after looking at the price... and also the specs... and the NICE NICE NICE designs... (love ASUS' designs. Seriously, other laptops are copying them I believe) ... tarus I got off my rather medium-to-big-sized ass, went to BUKIT JAMBUL shopping complex in Penang, and tarus angkut an ASUS :) Ok. Takde la tarus... ada jugak la usha2 dulu sikit2. :D Alhamdulillaah, lepas beli... the only problem was Mr. Gate's VISTA. Heheheh. Biasa laa, Windows VISTA masih baru... jadi masih memerlukan lagi 2-50 Service Packs :P

Anywayz... I bought an ASUS F80 series for my wife. After adding 2% credit card charge from de kedai... it came to a reasonable RM3K ++ bill. And it was at the lower 3K region :) Ok I think for the specs below:

  • Intel Core Duo ... 2.0Ghz with 2(ke 3? Lupa pulak...)Mb L2 Cache, 667Mhz FSB
  • 4GB Ram
  • 250GB Hard Disk (5.4K rpm)
  • External Display (ATI Mobility Radeon 256Mb)
  • 2.39 kilogram (sangat ringan compared to my previous notebook PC)
  • Spill proof keyboard
  • 14.1" WXGA monitor (whatever WXGA is anywayz....)
  • Builtin 1.3Mp webcam (tapi tak buleh rotate. Takpe, nanti buleh senget2 kan monitor)
  • Speaker Altec bin Lansing bin Tajudeen Sulaiman
  • Warranty International 2 tawon!!! Ok gak tu :)
  • And also... the very2 cantik design :D
Annywayz... Alhamdulillaah, my wife liked the laptop very2 much. Memula dia nak beli DELL Studio yang ada kaler2 tu. But after getting the ASUS, sonyumm je aku nengok? Walaupun kaler itam... tetapi ok aje. Ini mungkin kerna... Hitam Itu Menawan. Kekekekeke :P Macam husband dia gak le kot... dekat2 nak itam dan menawan (menawan dia sorang je la... tetapi tidak menawan Siti Nurhaliza. Uwaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!)

Okes... Anywayz... saya tak snap gambau lagi. But from the ASUS website, I think this is the model lah. Minus the Thumb-Print thinggy tapi. Insya-Allaah, this laptop will be used for the greater good of man... and woman kind :D Assalaam aleykom WBT dan Salaaam Muhibbah dari Alfian Troxion dot Blogspot dot Com :D

Mobile Phone for the wife :) - NOKIA 2630?

Assalaam aleykom WBT

Today I would like to talk about Mobile Phone... or Cell Phone... or Telefon Bimbit... or Henpon.... etc. :)
My dear readers, insya-Allaah I will looking for a new mobile phone for my wife within this week. But the reason is not becuz she too lost her mobile whilst in de cinema :P But becuz mobile dia mmg dah lama sangat, and now there seems to be some sort of interference when she makes and receives a call. Furthermore, flip phone dia pon dah tak secure, siap kena letak getah lagi. Hehehehe... Oleh yg demikian dan in conclusion serta secara kesimpulannya, we have agreed to get a new mobile for her :)

Since my wife mainly and mostly uses her mobile phone for making calls and SMS-es only (amik gambaq pon jarang2)... so we thought a basic, but relatively latest phone would suffice. Latest here I mean, with color screen and polyphonic + MP3 capabilities of course :)

I have been looking at the NOKIA 2630... small, stylish and very2 light. Keypads aren't that bad also... unlike my Sony Erricsson K550i, di mana keypad nya halus2 belaka dan hanya dapat tahu kesusahan utk tap-tap selepas dah beli dan tulis banyak SMS :) Tapi takpe... I think I can live with it :)

Price of the NOKIA is around RM300 to RM325. And this is for the FMG (original) set. The AP (AP tu short for what ek?) patut lagik murah. Anywayz... don't want to commit anything yet, sebab kot2 there are other models from other manufacturers that are more suitable?
But en ce momment (betul ke perancis aku ni.... meaning, at the moment... :P), this seems to be the most sensible and affordable and not to mention quite ok choice :) TETAPI! Haaaa... the reason I am blogging this is to ask my fellow readers. Do you guys have any other suggestions? Kot2 la, if any of you are masters of the mobile world :)

Okes. I will insya-Allaah continue to survey for other mobile phone models. But at the moment, the NOKIA 2630 seems like the ok-est deal :) Arigato dan Assalaam aleykom WBT.
OH! Lupa and terforget. RAMADHAAN MUBARAK to ALL MUSLIMS AROUND DA WORLD!!!

STREET FIGHTER 2 (Original)

Aiseymaaannn... (a good aiseyman that is)

Last weekend, when visiting my parents and also sending my wife to kursus TEKBAC, I took the opprtunity to visit the kedai2 game 20-sen at Sungei Wang Plaza. But as you all know, gone are the days of the 20-sen game machines... now, minimum nak kena masuk dalam kotak berskrin dan berkayu-ria tu is 50-sen. And most arcades now charge RM1 for a token. Hiah! Inflation... inflation...

Anywayz... I'd like to share my experience... of RE-experiencing my childhood fun of playing one of my ALL TIME favourite games! STREET FIGHTER 2 ... (Round 1... FIGHT!... Adoken! Adoken! SHIN RYU KEN!!!)

Basically, the game is about your chosen character, fighting his/her way through the streets of the world, with the sole intention of defeating the big bad drug lord boss... M BISON!!! And insya-Allaah after managing to put him down for the count, you will be treated to the ENDing story of that particular character. As for my character, I have chosen GUILE... the US soldier out to avenge his fellow soldier's death! (CHARLIE kot kalau tak silap nama kawan dia yg M. BISON bunuh tu...). Bawah ni senarai character2 yg anda buleh pilih. In those days, many of the expert Chinese players mainly picked Guile, because he had hidden moves and powers... which sometimes caused the machine to HANG!!!!

Okes. The Jalan Cerita... Firstly, saya akan naik katerbang... the plane is de one shown in the red circle tu ha... So I will go from country to country... fighting off other fighters... in preparation for the final battle with Bison :)

The pangkah-pangkah merah tu indicates all the fighters yang saya dah tewaskan. HIAH! Gambar berikut merupakan my victory in Japan against RYU! Kalau diikutkan, he is also on the same quest to find Bison... but alas, he has been defeated by Guile Al Troxion... Hiah!

Anyway, I did not manage to take any pics of Guile's SONIC BOOM or LIPAT MAUT powers, since my hands were occupied during the whole game. Tapi takpe, I think kalau nak tengok Guile's power, you can always Google :D

Ok, after defeating a few fighters, I was led to bonus stages. One of them involved my TOTALING a car with my bare hands and feet :) If I can finish in 40-secs, then I'd get 30,000 points BONOS! Which is good for... for... for nothin i guess :P Cuz nobody I know played for the high score... evenyone played jsut for the sake of beating Bison :D Anywayz, ni gambar keter yg kena musnahkan tu.

Long story short... after beating all the other fighters, I'd have to face the THREE BIG BOSSES before Bison. BALROG, VEGA and... the muy-thai master himself... SAGAT! Quite tough, but alhamdulilllaah, all of them fell at the hands of Guile.

So after SAGAT... saya pon lawan la Bison. 3 round gak kot? Tapi last sekali, saya munang. Alhamdulillaaah. Beginilah keadaan Bison lepas saya belasah dia cukup cukup... HIAH!

Guile mmg dah nak bunuh Bison dah lepas tu... tapi, sib baik bini dan anak dia datang... pujuk cakap

"Tak yah la bang... buat abih bogheh je. Baik abang guno tenago tu tuk bondo lain yg lagik berpekdah... macam potong ghumput kat ghumah ke, mandikan baby ke, atapun benda2 lain yg halaal di sisi agama di waktu malaam..."
Guile pon sodih memikirkan apa yg dia terpikir utk buat... yakni membunuh. Baik dia buat benda lain dia rumahnya di USA. Lantas, dia melepaskan Bison, dan naik aeroplane balik USA.

Annywayz... that's my story. Like a little kid, I was really2 happy :D After that, I played a few other times using Ken and Ryu :) Their ending stories are of course different from Guile's, where Ryu just walked away from the prize giving ceremony... and Ken finally married his long-time girl-fren (Buleh nampak muka rakus Ken lepas dah menang. Kekekeke... Kurang bersabar nampaknya... ish ish ish).

In all... it was a BEST BEST experience. Oh... and BTW, actually, to win the Street Fighter 2 (Original) game is not that difficult. You just have to know the moves to defeat each character. I won using three characters not because I was too damn good or anything, but because I knew the standard fail safe moves to defeat all the other characters :P Even the THREE BOSSES ada standard moves... Cuma dia orang pantas sikit la :) Hehehehe.

Annywayz... it was good fun. Not clean fun tho, cuz the game room was filled with asap rokok (even tho tak nampak pon orang isap :o). Oraitey... again, tq for reading... Salaamz

PS:- X-BOX 360 nak (atau DAH?) release STREET FIGHTER 4!!! I hear it's danggg good!!!

(Lost and Buy Already) vs (Prepaid and Postpaid)

I recently lost my mobile (at the cinema)... put it on silent-mode, then placed it on my seat (at the crotch area... hehehe)... and when Hancock ended, forget to take it... maybe it was because my hands were quite full at the time... and also! My attention was drawn to the screen again for the 2nd part of the movie's finish :

Anywayz, not blaming the movie or the surroundings or my hands being full etc. It was all me. My LG KE500 phone, along with Nurazlin Zainal Azmi's sim card, is lost at sea...nima... sea-nima? get it? cinema? sea-nima? HUA HUA HUA! Ok ok. bad joke...

(Atas desakan Mat Nabil Tajudeen, saya letak gambau henpon baru di sebelah henpon lama yg telah hilang dikebas cinema)

After a trip down the lift, a fag outside Queensbay mall, a walk to the car park and finally sitting down in my (wife's) Perodua Kelisa 1k CC... then I realized that the phone was missing. Long story short, went back to the cinema... looked for it... tried to call it (by the way, was already switched OFF)... looked for it again... :( Hilang daaah....

Tapi takpe la kot, there's always a hikmah behind things that happen. Anywayz... I already bought a replacement... the Sony Erricsson K550i. Due t lack of surveying, I bought it for RM110-120 more than the best price. Dayem!!! :( This serves as a lesson... Len kali, pi usha2 dulu, jangan main beli je dengan meng-assume semua kedai harga beza 20-50 ringgit je. :D My bad :)

Now, I am just waiting whether I can get back Lyn's old number. U see, I haven't finalized the name and ownership transfer of the sim yet... and since now Lyn's in N Zealand doing her PhD (tapi bulan 11 ni balik ek :P)... if the card can't be retrieved in relatively short period of time... I think I need 2get a new plan....

If so... Post paid or Pre paid?

Love Prepaid for all the freebies... especially the free SMS... well, primarily the free SMSes. Especially Maxis :D They give out tonnes of freebies... But hate the fact that sometimes (most of the times with my previous CELCOM Prepaid experience) credit runs out when I need it the most.

Post paid? Love it for the longer talk time... but hate the limited free SMSes. This is what I have with Lyn's plan :D hehehehe. Anywayz... sometimes I do enjoy talking long periods of times with selected people... but come to think of it... I dont do it that often :P Maybe once of twice in three months? I do more SMSes than talk....

Anywayz... :D

Any suggestions oh my good readers :D

oraitey... thak you for reading.

Assalaam aleykom WBT and a Good Day....

Olympus Shockproof and Waterproof - Mau beli :)

Assalaam aleykom WBT and Salam Sejahtera

Waaa... When I saw the commercial on TV, I said to myself... "Now... I can take pictures of fishes under the seas with this camera"

Lepas tu pulak, datang katalog Sen Heng, saying that the camera is going for RM1199 (Or was it RM1119...forget). I think it is a good deal :)

So, that night, I and my beautiful (Alhamdulillaah) wife, went to Carrefour, just to take a look at their price (since kitorang lagik familiar ngan Carrefour, and we already know how much Seng Heng is selling it for). Sampai2, je, after going through other tempting isles (namely cookware, Farhanah's kiddy DVD section and also barang2 rumah), we went to the nearest Digital Camera booth lah. We managed to get one of the 'tukang-jaga', and had a look at the camera.

Mula-mula, we were showed this one... I think....

(Taken from here)

But the color wasn't orange lah. We were shown a black one. We were a bit disappointed by the look and feel, because it seemed ... 'chikai' a bit (meaning cheap). But still, it had 1.5 meters shock proof, and could go 10meters under water (if I remember correctly). Hmmmm. Menarik jugak. Buleh amik gambo ikan ni. Hehehehehe (Always thinking about the fishies). This one was RM1199.

But after that, another, more senior, and seemingly more knowledgeable 'tukang-jaga-kedai' came to us, and showed the more expensive version.

(taken from here)

RM1599 harga dia. Hmmmmm. I think it was this one. But from the olympus website, the specs don't say how deep the camera can go underwater. The first one I mentioned kat atas tu, I think betul la... 10 meters. But this one, the sticker at Carrefour stated like... 33 feet... Japs... 10 meters la tu. Hahahahaha!!! Ampes. Macam sama je specs dia. Mengkaburi mata pembeli dengan unit-unit metric dan americanos!!! Tapi takpe...

Anyway... we're still considering which one to buy. Might need to take another look, sebab first time tengok pun kitorang lebih kurang scan through saja. Now that we know there are different models... and that 33 feet is actually 10-meters (hehehe), we can insya-Allaah make a more sensible and intelligent decision.

But the concept is still neat. Shockproof and Underwater ready :) Two features I would really like for my digital camera :) Not that I am looking forward to capturing pictures of women in their swim wear at swimming pools >:) But considering that I am quite clumsy at times, and also due to the fact that I might be going fishing in a few months time... this camera would fit my bill really well.

My first digital camera btw, was a Panasonic Lumix... Cost me RM1.6k if I remember correctly. But that one, the zoom already rosak! Now the camera is ZOOMING without me asking it to! Maybe skru atau something kat dalam dah ter-patah... not that I dropped it or anything. It simply rosak-ed all of a sudden. Baruu nak amik gambar main snuker dengan John Labu....

Anywayz.... Itu lah cerita saya pada kali ini. Cerita pasal nak beli digital kamera. One reason though kenapa tak beli2 lagi... is sebab takdak duit! kekeke. Bila la UPM ni nak kasik DS45. Ish... polisi oh polisi UPM. Tapi takpe. Kang marah pulak sesetengah pihak bila cerita pasal polisi2 hampeh ni. Hehehehe. Annnywayz....

Mari kita ramai2 beli kemra yang sama ndak? Kot2 dapat diskaun dari Olympus?

PS:- If anyone has any handy tips on how to select a good digital camera, I would be more than happy to listen... or read or course :)
